Among outstanding SBA alumni, some become leaders in government agencies at provincial or municipal level or in important economic sectors in charge of regional economic and social affairs, some become senior executives in large state-owned enterprises or listed companies such as CNOOC, SINOPEC, Haier, CIMC and Tsingtao Beer, leading their enterprises to the top of the world, and some others get remarkable honors such as National May Day Medal, Top Ten MBA Enterprise Stars in China, Top Ten Economic Characters in Guangdong, Model Worker in Guangdong, Model Worker in Guangzhou, etc..

As a school of SCUT , SBA inherits and promotes its prestige “a cradle of entrepreneurs in South China ” by fostering a large number of entrepreneurs. Some of them started from scratch and became managers in medium or large enterprises in a short time after graduation from SBA; some had already been successful with their businesses before came into SBA because they all believed that our educational ideas and methods could improve their thinking and business development. For instance, at the EMBA class-1 commencement in 2004, there were six winners of Top 100 Entrepreneurs with Private Enterprises in Guangdong Province among the graduates who received EMBA degree.
